A milestone for cancer support in the Alpes-Maritimes
We are honored to have been invited to contribute to a groundbreaking initiative spearheaded by La Ligue contre le cancer – Comité des Alpes-Maritimes that is set to improve the lives of cancer patients and their families. Under the leadership of Laurence Cressin-Bensa, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Committee of La Ligue contre le cancer, a unique guide compiling information on all available support care services in the region was unveiled during a Press conference held last October.
A comprehensive guide to assist cancer patients
For the first time in France, complementary care services from eight different associations have been consolidated into a single guide. This initiative aims to help cancer patients and their loved ones easily find the right support services close to home. The guide will be available in public and private healthcare facilities across the Alpes-Maritimes, ensuring better access to essential services such as psychological support, socio-aesthetic care, adapted physical activities, dietary advice, and more.

This guide represents a powerful collective effort to ensure that every cancer patient in the region has access to crucial resources and local support.
